The Wallaroo and Districts Dive Club was established in 1980, with members from across South Australia and other states.

During the warmer months, the club hosts monthly dives, and all are welcome to join. We not only dive locally across the Yorke Peninsula but also in and around Adelaide, where a number of our members reside.

The club hold the AGM each year in September to elect office bearers and discuss club business. The table below provides the current office bearers along with their contact information.

President - Adam Walters 0488 380 067
Vice President - Bruce Moffat 0428 322 995
Secretary - Dave Jackson - 0437 752 751
Treasurer - Peter Moody 0447 232 519
Public Officer - Anthony Fuller 0403 249 936
Assistant Treasurer - Carmel Moody 0409 694 151

The club can offer air fills for visitors to the Yorke Peninsula region at a cost of $15 per fill. The club's compressor is located in Wallaroo, and as one of our long-term members has generously offered this service, we kindly request that you plan for it to be done overnight.

Please note: ALL tanks must be in date before being filled.

If you would like to schedule a tank fill, please contact the club using the details provided above.

For members, we offer a discounted tank fill service, where you can purchase a 10-fill card for $70.

In addition to club engagements, we support several additional initiatives as follows:

Marine professional engagements.
Several of our members are engaged in one-off or regular paid marine work. If you need something done below the waterline, please reach out via the About Us page, and a member of the club will get back to you.

Marine Conservation.
Working with local fisheries and the local community, we help keep the local marine environment around our jetties as free as possible from debris and rubbish.

Annually, in collaboration with local communities, we conduct jetty clean-ups, physically removing rubbish and disused fishing equipment found under our jetties. If your town needs a jetty clean-up, please reach out to anyone on the About Us page.

Marine Awareness.
We host marine awareness sessions (social gatherings) in the local community, which take a show-and-tell approach. These provide the local community with the opportunity to see photos and videos of all the amazing and unusual creatures that live below our feet.

Committed to protecting our waters.
All of our club members share a common passion for the natural beauty of our local marine ecosystem. Our local waters are teeming with life of all sizes, and once you look into their world, it’s hard not to want to visit it regularly.

From collecting rubbish and freeing trapped marine animals to assisting with commercial and government projects, the club offers numerous opportunities to expand your connections and immersion in our local marine-aware community.

The Yorke Peninsula and Spencer Gulf offer some excellent shore dives, providing easy access and suitable diving for all levels of divers.

The links above will take you to some of the club's favourite local dive sites.
